CharliCharli Grace D'Amelio (/d@'mIlioU/ d@-MI'lee-oh;[2] was born May 1st April, 2004) is an American social media celebrity. Prior to becoming a competitive dancer, she was an avid user of TikTok to share dance-related videos. Her posts quickly gained her a huge audience, and became the most popular creator on the platform as of March of 2020. Khaby Lame took her place in July 2022. She has starred in several Hulu shows, including The D'Amelio show, TurboCat, and Snap Original's Charli vs. Dixie. D'Amelio was an aspiring celebrity contestant, took home the twenty-first season of Dancing with the Stars. She was the first to earn the 100 millionth and 50 millionth followers on TikTok. D'Amelio was the highest-earning TikTok female on the app in 2019 and the highest-earning personality on the app in 2022 as per Forbes. She is TikTok's most recognizable star. [3][4][5]
